| Now taking bookings with great discounts till offical opening Easter 2010. Molino Charrara is a rebuilt 19th century bucket mill built on the site of a 10th century Moorish mill and was used to make flour through times of war & recession. It is situated on the famous GR7 walk at the junction of the Rambla Charrara & the Rambla Benito and the surrounding countryside is ideal for ramblers, hikers, mountain bikers, 4x4 & off roading, climbers, bird watchers etc. You need a car in this area, there is no local bus service but we can provide you with airport transfers at extra cost from Murcia or Alicante airports. We have 4 lockable bedrooms available, 2 en-suite and two with their own private bathrooms opposite, beds will be made for you every day. There is an indoor bar/dinning area accessible from the rooms which also has a TV, DVD player, board games, books, darts, music etc. The bar will usually be open from 7pm but there is no problem if you wish to start earlier. When weather permits there is also an outdoor terrace where breakfast etc can be enjoyed. There is off street, secure car parking in our 300 year old olive grove available free of charge to clients, a childrens play area with swings and slide etc next to a chicken run and all is covered by 4 CCTV cameras. By February 2010 internet access should also be available to all guests, however out here in the "Campo" do not expect the kind of connection speeds you get back home. We do not provide evening meals as standard, if you require this then please make arrangements 24 hours in advance. We do however have themed evenings and events from time to time and if your stay happens to coincide with one of these then you are welcome to join in. Meal price is usually 10 to 15 Euro per person including wine & water. We have an outdoor kitchen where summer meals are prepared and if you wish to have your own BBQ then we have two available for client use. Seasonally we have fresh home grown or locally grown vegetables, fresh home baked bread from one of our two bread ovens, fresh eggs from our own chickens and locally produced wine. Local beers are always available and guest beers and home brew appear from time to time along with local wines. Our website at http://www.molino-charrara.com is still under construction so please be patient and we will add more photos to this listing as we get better internet access.
