Charming and comfortable two-bedroom apartment in the centre of the picturesque fishing port Kas. The town is beautifully situated beside the crystal clear waters of the Turquoise coast with mountains to the rear. Kas is lively but not brash, with numerous garden and roof top restaurants, a handful of bars and night-clubs and fantastic shops.
Kas is situated in the ancient region of Lycea and offers numerous excursions to sites of historic interest, including the city of Kekova, as well as the opportunity to walk the Lycean way. Distinctive Lycean tombs pepper the mountainsides and one restaurant even has such a tomb in its courtyard.
There is a small pebble beach, but most swimming occurs from the numerous terraced bars, that offer sun loungers and umbrellas free of change and where you can order drinks and food to be brought to you whilst you sunbathe. You can access the sea from these bars via steps, ladders and for the more adventurous, diving boards.vThere are several diving centres in Kas and many companies offer paragliding, kayaking and canoeing and river walking. Boat trips are available including week long Gulet cruises and overnight, catered excursions as well as day trips along the coast.
The flat is in the centre of the old town, in a cool and quiet location less than a minute’s walk from the sea and a stone’s throw from all local amenities.
