There are loads of outdoor activities available - horse riding, mountain biking, walking and hiking, rock climbing, canyoning and para gliding (the World Championships took place 3 years ago in nearby Algodonales). We are situated just above the shores of Lake Grazalema which is popular for fishing, kayaking and canoeing and swimming in the turquoise waters.Wildlife watching is fantastic; ibex, eagles, griffon vultures and many species of migratory birds. In the spring the abundance of wild flowers (including several indigenous orchids) make walking a delight.Futhermore, you could not choose a more central location to enjoy sightseeing in the great Andalucian cities of Jerez, Cadiz, Seville, Granada and Cordoba. Also, not too far away, are the coastal resorts of the Costa del Sol and the unspoilt Costa de la Luz.All in all, a perfect holiday area for those who wish to experience the real Spain and enjoy its people and the Andalucian way of life.
