It is located on a quiet, medieval, pedestrian only street. There is free parking, shops, bakery, and a weekly street market...all less than a block away. You can also find in the Borgo, a traditional Enoteca (serving local wine and cheese) a terrace bar where you can sit with a drink and take in the spectacular views of the countryside, two restaurants, and the tourist office. It is a short walk through the Medieval Borgo to the "newer" part of the town; there you will find shops, restaurants, pizzarias, coffee bars, bars, banks, post office, bus stop, swimming pool, internet cafe, and all the other town amenities you would expect to find in a town of about 6000. SWIMMING: We have made arrangements with a local pool to provide guests with access to beautiful, outdoor swimming during the summer months. Pool passes can be purchased onsite. THE HOME: Recently renovated, this cozy, Hill Town home still retains all it's charm and local characteristics. -Living Room (Sitting Area, Dining Table, Kitchen, Washing Machine, Fireplace) -Master Bedroom (Queen Bed)w/En Suite Bathroom (Shower, Sink, Toilet) -Loft Bedroom(2 Single Beds). Please note that the loft bedroom is open to the living area and has a fairly low ceiling. AIRPORTS: -Naples (1hour 45minutes) -Bari (2hours 30minutes) -Pescara (3 hours) -Rome (3hours 30minutes) There is bus service from the Naples Airport. Airport pick-up with a car service is available from all airports. Please note that a car is not required for exploring the town of Calitri, but is recommended for exploring the surrounding area and sights.
