Benitachell

VillaBABAR lies within the established "Los Calistros" urbanization on the outskirts of Benitachell and enjoys fabulous views across the valley to Mount Montgo (known locally as Elephant Mountain).

Just ten minutes by car from the seaside towns of Moraira and Javea at the northern end of the Costa Blanca in Spain, the villa is the perfect base from which to explore all that the surrounding area has to offer and is also ideal if you simply want to chill out and enjoy some peace and tranquillity.

The villa had, in its original configuration, a three bedroom layout offering accommodation for up to six. The interior of VillaBabar was, however, altered at the design stage so as to afford luxurious living space for a maximum of just four people.

This means, of course, that the number of bedrooms in the villa is reduced to two, giving an unusually spacious master bedroom and ensuite bathroom.

The accommodation within the villa comprises: open plan living/dining room with fireplace housing a modern "real flame" gas fire; fully fitted kitchen; large master bedroom with fitted wardrobes, super, king size, double bed, ensuite bathroom, and French windows which open out onto the terrace and swimming pool (8m x 4m with Roman steps) beyond; twin bedroom with fitted wardrobes; and Shower Room.

Outside, the naya (area of covered terrace) extends the full length of the villa. Within part of the naya are a large wooden table and eight chairs so that on those gloriously warm Mediterranean evenings, filled with the sound of cicadas, you can dine al fresco beside the floodlit swimming pool.

The barbeque, a second, smaller table and four chairs are on the lower terrace, which provides a sunny and sheltered seating area during the winter months.

The car port provides off-street parking and access from there down to the main terrace round the villa is by way of a ramp with a gradient of approx 1:12. The terrace itself extends to a generous 60m2 , and it, the swimming pool and villa are all on the one level.

A second ramp leads down, round the side of the swimming pool to the lower terrace. This means that every part of the property can be accessed without any steps at all to be negotiated, making VillaBabar an ideal choice if you and/or one of your party have limited mobilty.

Facilities include:- washing machine; dishwasher; electric fan assisted oven; gas hob; fridge-freezer; hairdryer; multi speed ceiling fans in each bedroom and the living/dining room; satellite television; dvd player; radio-cd player; sun-lounger round the pool; a (growing) library of current paperbacks; and full gas fired central heating for those cooler winter evenings.

All bed linen and towels (but not beach towels) are provided. A welcome pack will await you on arrival and there is a weekly maid service when towels & linen are changed.
